Personal Philosophy:
I have always been interested in an integrated model of health care – focusing on treating the entire person – encompassing both physical and mental health. Child Psychiatry provides the perfect blend of both – combining both therapeutic techniques and psychopharmacologic interventions. I have been trained in a collaborative model of treatment, where partnering with children and families is essential to successful treatment. I will listen to the needs of your child and your family, and try to address them in the most effective way possible. I have taught many clinicians over the years and the basic, overarching message I have shared with them is: “The recipe for healing is connection”. I look forward to creating these types of connections with your children, teens, young adults and your families.
